Bruxelles Royal Yacht Club
About Bruxelles Royal Yacht Club
The Bruxelles Royal Yacht Club has been around since 1904 and is set in a marina within the Bruxelles-Charleroi canal that runs through the centre of Bruxelles, capital city of Europe.
The club is very active as Bruxelles is a major inland port. It's also a wintering port, where many boats leave in spring to return to Bruxelles for the winter months. It has a bar and restaurant where you can get lunch most days and members areas to share tales on cosy winter evening.
Tuesday and Thursday evenings are very popular with the club's yachtsmen - but the club also has time to organise events for younger people
Marina
The club marina, near the Royal Palace, has superb facilities with craning, water, electricity, gas and a chandlery. The club has an active dinghy racing team and provides dinghy training courses though a Sailing Academy.
